GUIDELINES FOR FLOAT ACCESS TO FOOTSTOCK
- All floats must enter ING Footstock at the clearly marked diversion point leading into ING Footstock via the North Tunnel access point where the race passes Spreckles Lake.
- The maximum height for any float wishing to enter ING Footstock is limited to 6.5 ft. due to the physical limitations of the tunnel itself. If your float is in excess of this height you can dispose of your float in clearly marked dumpsters provided at both 30th Avenue and just past the diversion point 36th Avenue, just west of the lake.
- Floats that enter the field area at ING Footstock must weigh less then 500 pounds and must have bicycle or pneumatic tires capable of supporting the weight of the float on potentially soft grass areas without damaging the field surfaces.
- Registered participants must attend all floats entering the event site. When entering the Polo Field with your float, please be prepared to provide a contact name and cell number to our representatives. This person is expected to remain at or near the float for the duration of the event and is responsible for removing the float from the field area and disposing of it in the dumpster provided adjacent to Spreckles Lake on 36th Avenue.
