Street Closures & Resident Parking

Race day is always the third Sunday in May.
Below is a detailed list of streets that will be closed on race day, for the duration specified. Additionally, parking options for residents effected by no-parking zones for the event are listed below the street closures.
As part of the race accommodation, the Fremont Street off-ramp from westbound Interstate 80 (San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge) will be closed between 12:00:01 AM and 11:00 AM (approximately).
Alternate routes to take through the City:
- The Embarcadero will remain open in both directions at all times
- 19th Avenue/Park Presidio will remain open in both directions at all times
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, avoid/postpone travel in the affected areas, or use Transportation & Parking on the day of the race.

Residents who live near the DMV will be able to park in the DMV parking lot beginning at 6 pm Saturday until 6 am Sunday morning, on a first come, first served basis. You will have to present proof of your address to enter the parking lot. The following addresses are eligible: Fell Street between the 1200 and 2100 Blocks; Divisadero between the 400 and 500 blocks; Broderick between 300 and 400 blocks; Baker between 200 and 300 blocks; Lyon in the 200 block; Central Ave in the 300 block; Masonic in the 800 block; Ashbury in the 200 block; Clayton in the 200 block; Cole in the 200 block; Shrader in the 200 block; or Stanyan in the 500 block.
